Mindfulness meditation teaches you new ways to relate to whatever is happening in your life. Dr. Steven Hick will introduce practices that you can bring into your daily life and meditation that will cultivate contentment and joy. You will learn practical stress management skills to improve your ability to let go of the past, worry less about your future, and live with more peace of mind and balance. Research has found that the benefits are long-lasting and powerful.
The workshop will provide experiential exercises to develop mindfulness skills in body and mind awareness. The format of the workshop includes a topic introduction, a guided meditation practice, and Q & A.
