Vancouver Art Gallery Exhibitions and Lunch at 1931 Gallery Bistro
January 26 @ 10:45 am - 12:00 pm PST
As the largest public art museum in Western Canada, the Vancouver Art Gallery features the work of groundbreaking contemporary artists from around the world. Join the residents of Tapestry at Arbutus Walk as we roam the Gallery’s six current exhibitions. One feature exhibit is Rooted Here: Woven from the Land which celebrates the work of four prominent local Salish weavers. The exhibition establishes important contexts including the long history of Salish weaving and the rootedness of these traditions in the land. Prior to our gallery visit, we will have an early lunch at the 1913 Bistro.
