Carlina is a lifelong Vancouverite who grew up in Kitsilano. This can be rare as so many people you meet in Vancouver are from somewhere else. Carlina is a newer face at Tapestry at Arbutus Walk starting back in September. The spring and summer before starting, she lived and worked in Blue River, BC where she worked for River Safari enjoying the great outdoors and frequent grizzly sightings.
Before Carlina started at Tapestry, she didn’t anticipate the amenities, fresh menu and freedom residents enjoy at our community. Besides getting to know the residents, Carlina has connected with Kayleigh who started around the same time in the restaurant. They have become good friends and are even planning a trip to visit Portland together. The team at Tapestry is close and tends to have a family vibe.
“It’s so interesting hearing resident stories and discovering how different two people’s lives have been by the time they each reach the age of 90. I’ve learned you should never judge someone because of their age”.
