Tapestry at Arbutus Walk in Vancouver is hosting an Art Show in Partnership with Artists in Our Midst on Saturday, October 18, 2014.

This is the second annual art exhibition. Tapestry at Arbutus Walk is so pleased to feature eight residents from the community with nine local artists. This multimedia art show includes sculptures, sketches, watercolour and oil paintings, etc.

Come for a visit between 11am and 3pm. The exhibit will take over the entire front lobby! Canapes and champagne will be served and beautiful music will be provided by local musician Jennifer Lauren.

Did You Know?

Tapestry at Arbutus Walk established the O’Keefe Foundation back in 2008. Employees and residents raise funds to support two senior day centres in Vancouver. These day centres provide low income seniors with activities that enhance their quality of life such as music therapy, yoga, and outings.

15% of total of proceeds from the art exhibition will be going to the O’Keefe Foundation. Tapestry at Arbutus Walk also created a resident art calendar which includes a collage of many new and old master pieces created by residents. This calendar will be sold at the art show where 100% of the proceeds will go to the O’Keefe Foundation. Buy one and support local seniors in need!
