Tapestry has implemented significant measures to protect our residents, employees and communities from COVID-19 and other cold and flu illnesses. Out of an abundance of caution and in line with government and regulatory recommendations, we have limited visitation, suspended traditional group activities, and closed restaurant and pub seating.

Although we may be facing unprecedented times at Tapestry, it has been amazing to see our residents and employees come together and respect physical distancing recommendations and strong personal hygiene requirements to keep our communities healthy places to live and thrive.

Despite our changed reality, Tapestry employees are finding new and innovative ways to engage our residents and provide the level of services our residents expect while living in our communities.

After closing seating in our restaurants and pubs, we launched an in-suite meal delivery program for our residents so they can continue to enjoy healthy and delicious food in the comfort of their suites.

Our restaurant team has also been taking special care of our residents, many of whom are celebrating special occasions in their suites. At Wesbrook Village, for example, Executive Chef Masa whipped up a delectable Lobster Thermidor meal for a couple spending their 43^rd wedding anniversary at home.  Lobster Thermidor was a special request that Chef Masa was thrilled to prepare for our Wesbrook lovebirds! One resident celebrating a special birthday was thrilled to receive a delicious cake delivered with smiles and song.

 

The Wellness team at Tapestry at Arbutus Walk took to the streets to engage residents in an energy-filled balcony Zumba session.

With energetic music blaring from the speakers, the physically distant team kicked-up their heels and swayed their hips while encouraging residents to join in the fitness fun!

Tapestry at Village Gate West is continuing to support our residents’ physical wellness by providing individual gym sessions on a one-on-one basis. Our fitness professionals are also offering personal training to provide work-out solutions to residents seeking a more custom approach with expert direction. All physical distancing and special sanitizing procedures are in place to ensure everyone in our community remains healthy and well.

Though we may be facing unprecedented times at Tapestry, our amazing communities are continuing to create memorable moments for our residents.
